A Taste of Home

Together, the kitchen and butler’s pantry utilize symmetry and balanced division of space to create a functional and beautiful cooking area and gathering space. The slab backsplash acts as a natural focal point and background for the activity of the kitchen and allows the space to feel open and inviting. Framed by the view, the dining room presents a comfortable experience with upholstered dining chairs inviting you to linger. The angled and crossing lines of the table base and light fixture break up the space and accent the lines created by the ceiling beams that extend outdoors once again drawing the eye to the mountains and reservoir beyond.

In the lower family room, the angled tongue and groove wood slats to either side of the fireplace play with light and shadow adding texture and intrigue to the space. The natural elements from the great room above and outdoor living spaces are carried throughout the lower level of the residence continuing the connection to the exterior environment. The pops of color mixed within the neutral color palette add artistry to the space as does the amorphic game table rug and accompanying wall artwork. The family room is both comfortable and encourages you to explore its many facets including the adjoining bar and wine room.

The wood slats and LED strip lights in the wine room uses light and shadow to break up the space with intriguing linear forms also represented by the horizontal linear bar pendant. The outward angled wall and glass door invites you in as you explore the family room and offers a sophisticated bar experience.

High end office furniture including the famous Eames Lounge Chair demonstrates the importance of the space. Adjoining powder baths create unique escapes within the home.
